About me

I am currently in my final year at Sheffield Hallam University studying BA Hons Fine Art. As an artist I explore concepts surrounding family history, archives, memories and analogue materials.

Throughout my studies I have worked with a variety of mediums such as: screen printing, 35mm photography, digital photography, Photoshop, Illustrator, video using Premier Pro, laser cutting, painting, mixed media collage, liquid light emulsion, Sketch Up, exhibition curation and curatorial writing.

As an artist, I have developed a strong understanding for each medium I work with, and more importantly, how such techniques can be used to influence the sphere of digital design.

From curating exhibitions to designing logo's for my own small painting business, I have experience in collaborating with artists to transform initial sketches into final designs. This experience has strengthened my presentation skills, to think critically about creative decisions and to formulate responses in relation to critique.

Whilst working with customers in my small business, I have gained the knowledge and experience to work on multiple projects at once, whilst also discussing creative briefs for their specific artistic intentions. Attention to detail and establishing an artwork that exceeds my customer's requirements are my top priority.
